And the Winner Is...

For the past two days here in Chicago, it has been 70+ degrees. There is this peculiar excitement in the air, and for what should be the end of fall (in Chicago, at least), it has felt more like Christmas in July.

I voted in this election almost three weeks ago, and even then, it felt great. I have made phone calls, sent emails and worked with many others who have all been a part of this movement for change in this country.

AND NOW...



I am so full right now. As I sit here and type this through tears of joy, I realize that at this moment, the WORLD is different. I'm different. It is with extreme graciousness and thankfulness that I look forward to this family and to this new president entering the White House!
